It seems that Tim Burton and Marky Mark didn’t kill the Planet of The Apes franchise after all as word is; there a reboot script doing the rounds.

Titled Genesis: Apes this reboot focuses on the very first talking ape and surely, all the tomfoolery that follows.

Here’s hoping for more “Dunsten Checks In” and less Apes in cop uniforms ala Burton.
