This is perhaps the strangest piece of news I heard all week. Steven Spielberg and Will Smith are teaming up to remake, re-imagine, reboot (delete where applicable) Oldboy.

For those of you who have never heard of Oldboy all you need to know is that it was extremely violent, had subtitles and is the absolutel last movie that you would expect to see both Spielberg’s and Smith’s names attached to.
