It’s been over three years since we last paid a visit to Oddworld and concerns were begining to grow over the internet that maybe, we were never going to go back…

But worry not (if indeed you had been worrying) developer Oddworld Inhabitants have been busily grafting away at a new game for a while and also, wait for it, a movie!

That’s right; a movie.  And it’s one of them CGI buggers too!

The film, which is to be called Citizen Siege, will be produced by Shrek director John H Williams and represents a huge shift in focus for the developers who seem convinced that their concept is bigger than just video games.

Personally, after the terrible Shrek sequels, I don’t want to see more green CGI characters…
