Marvel have announced that they are going into production on a new Avengers cartoon series to coincide with the release of their Avengers movie which is due in 2011.

That’s right, 2011!

If they had any sense they would launch the series late 2010 to build up some awareness for the live action movie amongst kids, instead they seem intent on broadcasting it at the same time.

Not sure about this one.

Let’s just hope it’s as good as the recent Ultimate Avengers animated movies…
