There is talk of rebooting 80′s detective show Magnum PI as a movie.

Everyone from Mathew McConaughey to George Clooney has been mentioned for the role.

I really don’t see the point in this remake, Magnum P.I wasn’t popular because it had a great concept that needed revisiting, it was popular because of Tom Selleck and Tom Selleck alone.

Magnum is Tom Selleck.
