The Wrestler – Trailer!

The trailer for the new film The Wrestler, starring Micky Rourke, has just been released. It’s directed by the great Darren Aranofsky (Requiem For a Dream, PI) and has gotten critics and viewers alike buzzing about it’s release – which, incidentally, is January 16th.
I don’t want to give away too much on this one, but it surrounds the life of Randy “The Ram” Robinson, who is a post-sensational wrestler. He is given the opportunity to sort out his relationship with his estranged daughter as well as a rematch with his biggest opponent The Ayatollah.
Uhh, Rocky? Hello?
Still, could be a good film, Aranofsky has been pegged as a cinematographic genius for many years. Check out the trailer below:
