Tron 2 Could Be A Remake!

Not only has Tron 2 had a rename, (it’s now called TRZ) but it sounds like it is heading towards remake territory.
This is bad news if it is true. The idea of a sequel to 80′s classic Tron appeals to me greatly but a remake, well, that doesn’t interest me at all.
The original Tron still holds up well so where the demand for a remake comes from is baffling. I liked the idea of seeing what Jeff Bridges character had gotten up to since the first movie but the trailer suggest that Jeff Bridges is playing the bad guy, which is stupid, why have him there at all if he’s going to play a different character?
It just adds confusion.
Fingers crossed it isn’t a remake…
