Atari released pictures of upcoming game Tekken 6 and upcoming film The Chronicles of Riddick: Assult on Dark Athena, in a press conference this week.

Though Riddick has been critisised for it’s ‘drab and dull palette’, I think that it has been overlooked that has probably been done for a reason. These directors use mood lighting and cinematographical tricks to their advantage. I doubt very much that they would have given Riddick dim colours by accident. I could, of course, be wrong.

As for Tekken 6 , hardcore Tekken fans will be pleased to hear that it looks pretty sweet. It’s like the lovely graphics on Tekken 5, just updated and a bit sharper. I am looking forwards to kicking Jin’s butt in HD.
