Rourke Body Slams Sin City 2!
Sin City 2 has taken a major kick in the teeth with the news that Mickey Rourke is not interested in reprising his role for the sequel.
This is actually quite interesting in that it’s a somewhat ungrateful move by Rourke who arguably remade himself with his role as the iconic Marv.
Now Rourke finds himself wrapped up in Oscar buzz he doesn’t need Sin City anymore and frankly I find it disappointing that he would treat fans of the first film that way.
Marv is going to have to return and without Rourke, frankly, I don’t think I’ll bother watching, you see I wasn’t, and am not, a fan of the comic books, I’m a fan of the movie and Rourke was a big part of why I loved Sin City so for him not to return means I probably wont.
For shame Mickey, for shame!
