Alvin and the Chipmunks is going to get a sequel and Doctor Dolittle director Betty Thomas is attached to direct.

Mmm…

I actually rather enjoyed the first movie, I admit it, it’s not the proudest admission I’ll ever make but yeah, as a whole I came away from the first movie pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was, but then I am a big Jason Lee fan and will watch anything with him in it.

But still, for what it was, Alvin and the Chipmunks was fun.

The sequel, on the other hand, you just know it’s going to be bad.

Not only is the Doctor Dolittle director on board but it’s even got the Chipettes, who in case you’re wondering, are a female version of the Chipmunks, (shock, horror!)

Yep, Chipettes….
