Are you scared every time you turn your console on?

Well worry no more, the Xbox 360 has had a bit of a revamp of its insides which, hopefully, means that the Three Red Lights problem that threatens every Xbox on the market should be a thing of the past.

Codenamed Jasper, the new Xbox 360 houses tiny 65nm CPU and GPUs.  It is smaller, cooler and demands less power which results in a more stable and generally better Xbox 360.

But here’s the catch, there’s no way of knowing which Xbox 360 is a Jasper without getting all geeky and matching lot numbers, checking console wattage and inspecting the power connector.

Sound complicated?

That’s because it is.
