Batman 3 Rumors Get Interesting!

The rumor regarding Eddie Murphy’s casting as the Riddler in the next Batman movie has taken some stick from the web this past week but the rumor starter – Sun reporter Gordon Smart has come out from hiding to stand by his “scoop”.

Smart claims that his source close to the movie was the same guy who tipped the world to the news that Daniel Craig was cast as the new James Bond, a piece of news which seemed unbelievable at the time.

Could it be that Smart is right and Murphy is going to play the Riddler?

It should be acknowledged that even though both Warner Brothers and Chris Nolan have denied that any casting decisions have been made they would deny it even if they had.

This is so crazy that it just might be true.  The fact that the author of the “scoop” has stepped forward and publicly faced the shit storm makes me wonder if Smart is on to something.
