What we know

Arkham Asylum is a third person adventure where the Dark Knight finds himself trapped within the legendary Arkham Asylum.  Mark Hammil will reprise his role as the Joker.

Why we should be excited

• Developers Rocksteady Studios have promised a return to Batman’s detective roots with puzzles that will test his famed forensic skills.
• The entire game will take place within the Gothic confines of Arkham Asylum which should ensure a claustrophobic experience akin to Bioshock.

Why we should be wary

• Rocksteady Studios are somewhat unknown, their previous release being the uninspired Urban Chaos: Urban Response.
• It’s a Batman game and he has a habit of letting us down.
• Likewise it’s a licensed property and we all know how the majority of them turn out.
