Heavily hyped movie The Spirit has flopped at the Box Office.

Opening in cinemas this past weekend, The Spirit failed to even hit $10 million dollars collecting a mere $6 million leaving it in 7th place in the US box office charts.

This is a big blow to director Frank Miller who had quite a few jobs lined up after this one, including my dream remake Buck Rogers.

How this film will affect his pipeline jobs I don’t know but maybe he should ease off the CGI in his next one just to show that there’s some substance in his directing as well as style.
