Have Warner Brothers Shelved DC Superhero Movies?

Well, well well, it seems that there is someone sensible over at Warner Brothers after all.

Since the Dark Knight went crazy at the Box Office DC have been throwing all kinds of crazy shit ideas at the wall.  From Captain Marvel being a comedy to Superman being a dark thriller, to Jack Black playing the Green Lantern.

It seems that DC have now decided it’s time to step back, calm down and take a deep breath.

So, who are the major casualties of this new approach?

Well, if we are to believe everything we read then there’s the Green Arrow movie Supermax, the sequel to Superman Returns, Justice League, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and well, nearly every DC property has been mentioned in the past few months.

What happens now?

Hopefully Warner Brothers will see that not every Superhero movie they produce has to follow the Dark Knight blueprint.

This decision could actually turn out to be a good move for superhero movies and I for one am all for it.
