Brandon Routh and Brie Larson have joined up to Edgar Wright’s adaptation of cult comic Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

The movie sees a young slacker named Scott Pilgrim who after meeting his dream woman realizes that the only way to woo her is to fight and defeat her seven evil boyfriends.

We’ve all been there before, am I right?

Anyway, the books are written by Bryan Lee O’Malley.

Fantastic Four star Chris Evans has also joined the cast, playing boyfriend No.2, a pro skateboarder-turned Hollywood superstar.

This is a strange sounding movie that you just know is going to become a cult classic…
