Okay, let’s start with Dark Knight not being nominated for Best Picture. Personally I loved the movie and the fact that it didn’t even make the nominations sucks balls. In my opinion I felt it was a better overall movie than Frost/Nixon, and that’s not a knock against Frost/Nixon, I enjoyed the movie; it was a little contrived and lacked substance but overall watching it was a very pleasant experience, but was it better than Dark Knight?
I don’t know. I’m trying to look at the nominations objectively but I can’t for the life of me fathom why The Dark Knight was excluded.
I’m stunned to be quite honest with you.
However, I am glad that at least Heath Ledger got a nomination.

Best Actress – Kate Winslet / The Reader
Best Supporting Actor – Heath Ledger / Dark Knight
Best Supporting Actress – Marisa Tomei / The Wrestler
