Green Hornet Cancelled?
It seems that production on the proposed Green Hornet movie has been stopped.
Insiders claim that the movie will definitely not go in to production in 2009.
No real reasons as of yet have been put forward as to why the film has been red lighted but after Stephen Chow stepped down from the director’s chair, rumors have been rife that the project has been having difficulties.
Personally I won’t be too upset if the movie never makes it into production as the approach they were insistent on taking with Green Hornet was one of an action comedy.
Green Hornet should not be a comedy and I can’t see anybody on the Internet asking for it to be one.
Anyway, perhaps now Sony can take a time out and realize that the property deserves more respect than they were giving it?
