Many of you will remember actor and stuntman Bob May, best known for donning The Robot’s suit in the hit 1960s TV show Lost in Space. Unfortunately, Bob passed away this week at the age of 69 due to congestive heart failure, at a hospital in Los Angeles. He was particularly fond of his Robot role, once saying he came to consider the suit a “home away from home”. A quick round up of everything Superhero related… Spiderman 4 is due to start shooting next year ready for a 2011 release. J K Simmons, who played J Jonah Jameson confirmed that he talked to Sam Raimi over the Christmas period and they discussed shooting the pic next year. No news yet on plot details. Sam Rockwell has been confirmed for an upcoming role in Iron Man 2. Rockwell, who was originally up for the role of Tony Stark will play Justin Hammer. Square Enix Suffering!
Nobody likes a whinger. Square Enix has reported that “it has enjoyed robust holiday sales and that its operating profit will be roughly in line with its forecast for the year”. Sounds peachy, doesn’t it…? Well SE don’t seem to think so as they believe that they are likely to miss their recurring profit target. The company said last year that its operating profit was likely to dip 2.4 per cent to JPY 21 billion (USD 236 million) year-on-year, and Square Enix says it still expects this to be the case, according to the Guardian.
