Billy Bob Thornton As Iron Man?
Billy Bob Thornton claims that he was in talks to play Tony Stark before Marvel took the Downey Jr direction. Speaking to MTV the actor said… “They talked to me about Iron Man for just a minute – just for a minute” Just for a minute eh? We all know that in Hollywood a minute is equal to a couple of weeks in the real world. But what if he had become Iron Man? Would it have been the success it was? If you remember he was offered the role of the Green Goblin in the original Spiderman movie. Now that would have worked I’m sure, but Iron Man? They shouldn’t have even talked to…

Happy Birthday Mac!
Ahhh, the Macintosh. Everyone knew the name ‘Mac’ before iPods were even conceived. Yes indeedy, on the eve of it’s birthday I shall list some of the useless yet undeniably interesting facts about the Macintosh. The first Apple computer to bear the name – turns 25 on 24 January. As most of you know, the machine debuted in 1984 and kicked off a product line that were Apple’s flagship computers for many years. The Mac helped to increase the popularity of the “interface and mouse” combo that is omnipresent today. When it first came out, the Mac was marketed using a hugely expensive TV advert, directed by film maker Ridley Scott and shown during the…
Liam Neeson Adds To Batman 3 Confusion!
Could Ra’s Al Ghul be coming back for Batman 3? Liam Neeson was asked the very same question the other day to which he cryptically replied, “You never know, Christopher Nolan still has my phone number…” You never know? Well, we kind of do know, your character died in the end of Batman Begins… Didn’t he? If Ra’s Al Ghul isn’t dead does that mean that Harvey Two Face is still alive? And what about Rachel Dawes? My head hurts… Just give us Guy Pearce as the Joker, throw in Bane and be done with it! Although I must admit I loved Liam Neeson as Bruce Wayne’s mentor. If they had to resurrect a villain…
Lost Planet The Movie To Cost $200 Million!
Remember that third person sci-fi shooter that came out for the Xbox 360 a couple of years back? The one with the ice and the bugs? Yeah? Well, not only are Capcom turning it into a movie, which will be propuced by Spiderman super producer Avi Arad, but they’ve estimated the budget between $150 – $200 million. That’s right. Capcom should take a reality check. Spending that kind of money on adapting what is essentially an unknown video IP is ludicrous. The planned Halo movie budget came in at around the same mark and that was a well established brand name. But Lost Planet? Was there really anybody asking for this movie to be made?…
