Star Trek Barbie Dolls!

JJ Abrams upcoming Star Trek remake is to get some very unique merchandise… Barbie dolls. Yep, Barbie dolls. If anything can get men to buy Barbie dolls it’s Star Trek.  I can see it now, some grown up nerd (probably me) scouring the girl’s section of Toys R Us in search of a Captain Kirk Barbie doll and matching dream house. The big question is though, whether or not we’ll be able to see Uhura’s breasts? That’s it, I’m buying all of ‘em. The urge to see Enterprise genitalia is too strong… Tweet This Post

Tom And Jerry The Movie Headed To The Silver Screen?

Warner Bros. are bringing Tom and Jerry film to the big screen. They are planning to approach it like the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie released last year where Tom and Jerry will be CGI characters set in a real world environment. The story will focus on how Tom and Jerry actually met. So, a Tom and Jerry origin story eh? Sounds good to me. No news yet as to the human cast but I don’t think it matters who will star alongside them, the real stars are the cat and the mouse. Why am I so excited about this? Tweet This Post

Killzone 2 Ready To Ship!

Sony’s big title of 2009, Killzone 2 is ready to ship! The game has finished its development cycle and is off to the printers ready for its February 27th release date. Sony have a lot of hope riding on this game.  Expected to be a system seller; Killzone 2 is meant to be the game that finally shows how powerful the PS3 is.  It has already been wowing people at tradeshows across the world and if the buzz is to believed, it already looks a shoe-in for game of the year. The Shadow Is Coming Soon, Or Is It?

Veteran producer Michael Uslan, who helped bring us every Batman movie to date, (even the shit ones) has been talking about his upcoming remake of The Shadow. Okay, I know it’s more of an adaptation of the comic than a remake of 1994′s Alec Baldwin-driven “classic” but who knows how to phrase these things anymore?
