Judd Apatow To Make A Horror Movie?
Judd Apatow is looking to direct and/or produce a horror movie. The director/producer; best known for comedies like Pineapple Express and Superbad, has grown tired of the same old format and wants to branch out into another direction. Two questions are beginning to swirl around in my head and that’s what kind of part will he give to Seth Rogan and will his horror have comedy elements? Hopefully the answers to those questions will be; none and no. Anyway, it’s still nice to see someone in Hollywood move outside their comfort zone. Tweet This Post
Transformers 2 Rumor Round Up!
With all the bullshit being posted on various websites, getting any reliable information on Transformers 2 is a pretty laborious endeavor, so I’ve decided to crawl the net for you and put them all in one place for you. So, here goes… Synopsis first – The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron’s dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and…
Marvel Studios To Pay It’s Stars With Peanuts?
It seems the global recession really is affecting everbody; including Hollywood. Variety have reported that Marvel Studios have offered Mickey Rourke a platry $250k to play the bad guy in their upcoming Iron Man 2. $250k to play the main villain in the sequel to a movie that took $540 million (not including DVD sales) is insulting. Especially when you take into consideration how hot Mickey Rourke’s career is right now. If Marvel are not careful they could end up replacing their biggest stars. This is very suprising and completely confusing as to why they would make such a paltry offer. The Studio is riding high after an amazing 2008 and much be absolutely loaded….
Assassins Creed 2 Not Out Until Next Year?
Rumors are beginning to circulate that Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 2 will not hit retail until the end of the 2010 fiscal year. After the original split reviewers down the middle with its gorgeous graphics and repetitive gameplay, many expected the sequel to hit the shelves this year. Games Industry expert Mark “Pac Attack” patcher is responisble for the prediction, and he also predicted that the next Splinter Cell would be released at roughly the same time. Assassin’s Creed 2 is one game I am really looking forward to. The original is the best looking multi-platform game I have seen and although I too found it repetitive, it was fun. I expect the sequel to improve…
Old Gamecube Games Now On Wii!
Nintendo have decided to release some of the old Gamecube games on Wii. You might think that you’ve got some nice nostalgic cheap games on the way. But you’d be wrong. According to Nintendo, the remakes will be sold at the same price as a normal Wii release. (Uhm, but you’re basically making the same game…? How does that work?) For those who are still interested, the first two games in the New Play Control! brand are Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis, and have a recommended retail price of GBP 39.99, although online retailers are already slashing prices (thank God). Nintendo claims the titles have a RRP of GBP 29.99. I suppose that the clause…
