Mario Kart Sells 9 million In 2008!

Mario Kart Wii sold an impressive 9 million copies during 2008 making it the biggest selling game of last year.

9 million copies?

That’s obscene.

But seriously, Mario Kart Wii is a fine game and unlike that other major seller Wii Sports, I have no problem with the figures for this game.

Wii Fit was the second biggest selling game of last year followed by Super Smash Bros Brawl and the multi-format GTA4.

The Wii is officially kicking ass but to have the three biggest selling games of the year in what was a record breaking year anyway is astounding.
