The Cartoon Network have announced that they have picked up a second series for Star Wars Clone Wars.

Stuart Snyder, a big cheese at Turner Animation had this to say…

“Star Wars: The Clone Wars is like nothing else on television and has delivered for us on all levels, it has helped us launch a great new night of action-adventure on Fridays and build on our dominance with boys.”

I must admit that I somewhat like the Star Wars CGI, it’s a lot better I think than the prequel movies though that in itself doesn’t say much.

The current series is due to end at the end of March and as of yet the Cartoon Network haven’t stated when the next series will air.

I’m not sure but I think the next series will not be written by George Lucas, so perhaps we’ll see some solid Star Wars action next time?

Let’s just hope that they cut down on the “comedy” Battle Droids because they are really starting to grate at me.
