What is it with Jane Austen novels that makes movie producers want to add all sorts of crazy shit to them?

First up it’s Predators and now they’re talking about Zombies.

This time the producers are going for a more comedic approach.

Apparently Natalie Portman is attached to star in the film which sees a Zombie outbreak take over the quiet English village of Meryton.  Portman will play Elizabeth Bennet who sets about wiping out the Zombie infestation with the arrogant Mr. Darcy.

I swear I am not making this up…
