With the movie almost completed it comes as somewhat of a shock to learn that Linda Hamilton is in talks to reprise her role as the iconic Sarah Connor in the upcoming Terminator Salvation.

When asked about the role Hamilton simply said, “We’re talking.  I haven’t read it yet.  I don’t know what direction they will go in“.

It sems that a purely voice-over role is more likely than any onscreen gig as director McG has previously stated that he would like to use the tapes that Sarah Connor recorded at the end of the first Terminator movie as inspriration for John Connor as he grows up.

Hamilton seemed very open to the idea of a voice over role stating; “I would be very happy to lend my voice, depending on what the material is.  Wait and see.  They’re already writing it.”
