Nintendo DSi To Be Released On April 3rd In Europe!

Nintendo have announced that their Nintendo DSi is to be released in Europe on the 3rd April, two days before its American release.
The DSi, which is slightly bigger than the DS lite will probably retail for around £150 and come with a choice of two colors; black or white.
New features include a SD card slot, two motion detecting cameras, a bigger screen and built-in flash memory.
However, not everything has been upgraded. Those of you who still play the odd Gameboy Advance game will be disappointed to learn that Nintendo have taken away the backwards compatibility function from the DSi.
Still, it looks kind of cool.

One last thing – Anyone know what type of downloadable games they are talking about? Im hoping for NES-SNES-64-GB-GBC-GBA ones myself…
The type of downloadable games they’re talking about are like the wii-ware games on the wii. More emphasis on original titles than remakes. But yeah, it’ll be interesting to see what they do with the camera, not sure if the wii motion sensor can be seen as a gimmick anymore, now the balance board; that’s a gimmick…
