Battlestar Galactica The Movie?

It seems that Universal are planning on making a Battlestar Galactica movie and it will have nothing to do with the current series, which is coming to an end in the next couple of weeks.

Plot details are sketchy at the moment but reports suggest that the new movie will be not be part of the current cannon and in fact will be headed by the creator of the original 80’s series Glen A. Larson.

Glen A. Larson, who, if you didn’t already know, was responsible for some other classic 80’s sci-fi shows like Buck Rogers, Automan and Knight Rider amongst others.

Though the movie will not continue the the story of the current series, it will however, center around Adama and Baltar, though it remains unclear as to what capacity they will be used.

Still, with the series on its last couple of episodes it is nice to know that we’ll get to see some more Cylons in the future.
