Dark Knight Breaks Billion Dollar Barrier!

Warner Bros. have announced that Dark Knight has finally passed the billion dollar mark with the impressive sum of $1,001,082,060. Of this figure; roughly 50% was taken in the US alone.

Dark Knight is the fourth movie to break the billion dollar barrier joining Titanic ($1.8b), The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (1.1b), and Pirates of the Caribbean (1.08b).
