Capcom announced today that Lost Planet 2 would be coming to the Xbox 360 but failed to mention whether or not PS3 owners would get a version.

The game will have quite a few changes from the first Lost Planet, most notably in the different enviroments you’ll get to play in.  Set 10 to 20 years after the original, the snow, which was a big part of the first game, has now melted; giving way to a world of jungles and other more urban settings.

Capcom have even been hinting at co-op play which considering their approach to Resident Evil 5, is hardly suprising.
