Arnie’s classic Sci-Fi Total Recall is being remade by Columbia Pictures, according to sources.

Despite the fact that the flick is only about 19 years old, they have deemed it in need of a remake, which frankly I find ridiculous. Why not do a sequel? Why must they always be insistant on remaking films which don’t need rebooting?

The original was viewed as a “Sci-Fi classic” by many, so the news will either come accompanied by shrieks of delight or groans of disappointment. I am, unfortunately, the latter. There hasn’t been any more news on the topic, except for the release of plans for remaking the film, but stay tuned for more news as it comes in.
