GTA 4: Lost And The Damned Sets Xbox Live Record!
The downloadable add on pack Lost and the Damned for Grand Theft Auto has broken the record for first day revenue on the Xbox Live Arcade service.
The add on, which is a 15 hour story, and came combined with a week’s worth of free online play for the game, managed to generate a bigger increase in active users the week before launch than any previous DLC.
Marc Whitten, general manager of Xbox Live, had this to say -
“The success of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned redefines what consumers expect from Game Add-ons, content like this is extending the lives of our favorite games and fundamentally changing the way we play.”
The addon itself rated highly across all video game sites and at a price of roughly 15 bucks is extremely good value, especially considering you get some full frontal nudity for your cash, although it’s probably not the kind of full frontal nudity you’d want to spend your money on. (FYI, it’s a penis)
I’m yet to download the game myself, I’m still having problems with the retail game but rest assured, when I finish Nico’s story I’ll be bringing down Lost and the Damned and engaging in mucho bike gang crime.
