Battlestar Galactica The Movie?

It seems that Universal are planning on making a Battlestar Galactica movie and it will have nothing to do with the current series, which is coming to an end in the next couple of weeks. Plot details are sketchy at the moment but reports suggest that the new movie will be not be part of the current cannon and in fact will be headed by the creator of the original 80′s series Glen A. Larson. Glen A. Larson, who, if you didn’t already know, was responsible for some other classic 80′s sci-fi shows like Buck Rogers, Automan and Knight Rider amongst others. With many series’ coming to an end and rumors of cancellations, I’ve recently been on the lookout for fillers and potential new obsessions for my TV schedule. A big fan of Prison Break’s first two series’ I’m pretty much looking forward to its end having seen it dragged out and bled dry like Rhianna on a date with Chris Brown. Allegedly. Codemasters Announce Video Game Release Schedule!

UK games publisher Codemasters have announced their 2009 release schedule. Up first are Overlord: Dark Legend and Overlord: Minions for the Wii and Nintendo DS respectively while spaceship MMO Jumpgate Evolution will also see a June release date. Colin McRae: Dirt 2 will be released in September on EVERY major platform. I’ve always thought that calling the Colin MaRae games DIRT was a little insensitive, you know, as in dirt nap? Singstar To Get Wireless Mics And New Compilation!

Sony have announced that wireless mics will be available for their Singstar franchise come March 20th. And not only will the mics be wireless but they will come with a whole host of new features. First up are some new voice control options, one of which will see you being able to announce which song you wish to sing to without having to use the d-pad on your controller to select songs and even browse through the Singstar shop with verbal commands.
