Confirmation: Samuel L Jackson IS Nick Fury!
That’s right, the rough and ready one eyed S.H.I.E.L.D leader is going to be played by Mr. Samuel L himself. It’s not really news, as the sting was played after the Iron Man credits. For those who aren’t familiar with the comic books, Nick Fury is responsible for recruiting Stark into his “Avengers” initiative. This sits nicely with future installments to the Marvel comics – namely Iron Man, The Avengers, Captain America, Stilt Man etc. He does bear a remarkable resemblence to the S.H.I.E.L.D member, so it isn’t exactly rocket science to choose him for the role. What many may not know is that there has been doubt cast over the whole Jackson/Fury idea. Over…

Columbia Set to Make Total Recall!
Arnie’s classic Sci-Fi Total Recall is being remade by Columbia Pictures, according to sources. Despite the fact that the flick is only about 19 years old, they have deemed it in need of a remake, which frankly I find ridiculous. Why not do a sequel? Why must they always be insistant on remaking films which don’t need rebooting? The original was viewed as a “Sci-Fi classic” by many, so the news will either come accompanied by shrieks of delight or groans of disappointment. I am, unfortunately, the latter. There hasn’t been any more news on the topic, except for the release of plans for remaking the film, but stay tuned for more news as it…
