Quake Live Beta Opens!
The beta version of Quake live opened yesterday, and has since been innundated with hundreds of games wanting to play. However, this high demand has caused technical difficulties and extremely long queues. The total number of “applicants” is said to currently be exceeding 110,000, which is overwhelming. A statement from the Software team read: “We obviously didn’t intend for tens of thousands of people to have to wait in the queue, but it was put in place for a reason, and that was so once you made it to the site, it still performed fairly well and didn’t crash under heavy loads, which for the most part has worked well. We apologise for the frustration…
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg – The B Team?
As an Anchorman fan (I LOVE LAMP) I always look forwards to going to see a Ferrell flick. I went to see the “flop” that was Semi-Pro and found myself lightly entertained and amused as always. I went to see the utterly hilarious Blades of Glory twice and still find myself in fits of giggles every time I hear Aerosmith’s I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing. Any like minded fans will be pleased to hear that he is planning to make a new movie alongside Adam McKay, called B Team. It will also star Mark Wahlberg with a script from Chris Henchy. Storyline? Well, I can imagine that it’s going to be Mark and Will…

Sad news to start off, Gamesindustry.biz have done a survey regarding the economical concerns, and I am extremely disappointed to say that things do not…

Lou Diamond Phillips Joins Stargate Universe Cast!
The Sci-Fi Channel have announced the casting of Lou Diamond Phillips for its Stargate spin off Stargate Universe. The series, which is due to premiere in October with a two-hour movie also stars Robert Carlyle. The casting of Lou Diamond Phillips is definitely interesting, I mean, I haven’t seen the guy since the eighties. All I remember of him is he had a slightly weird looking face. Other confirmed cast members are – Ming-Na, Elyse Levesque, Alaina Huffman, Justin Louis, David Blie, Jamil Walker Smith and Brian J. Smith. The series will be written by Stargate veterans Brad Wright and Robert Cooper. Tweet This Post
