Army Of Two 2 On The Way?
Say it quickly and it sounds like a Ballet-inspired first person shooter, but in reality Army of Two 2 (Hah, tutu, geddit?) is a sequel to the almost good Army of Two, which EA released last year.
Like I said, the first Army of Two was almost a good game. With it’s heavily focused co-op gameplay it had the chance of being a great game but unfortunately it was just too damned annoying.
But, unlike the movie industry, game sequels are generally improvements over their originals, so you can reasonably expect a sequel to Army Of Two to be superior on all levels. Which shouldn’t be a hard feat for the developers to achieve.
Anyway, EA spent a lot of money last year developing brand new IP’s and now that they’ve got their rush of creativity out of their systems, it’s sequels and updates all the way.
Up first seems to be Army of Two 2, though I don’t expect it to be called that. The studio behind the first game have called for a press conference early next week where they’re expected to announce the game and reveal some details.
Don’t know about you but I’d love to see Army Of Two 2, with tighter gameplay, the sequel has all the potential to at least rival the first Gears, which would be a massive improvement on the first game.
See, I’m not asking for miracles, I’m not greedy. Just give something playable and which doesn’t make me want to rip my hair out when I’m playing it and I’ll be happy.

I found the first one to be a drag to play through with repetive battles, not changing begining to end.
But I think if they mix it up abit with the combat and add more stealth and CQC ideas it could be pretty sound.
I’m quite excited about this one. First one had so much potential…
