Activision Announce New Guitar Hero Titles!

Activision have announced their plans to extend their Guitar Hero franchise several more times this year with new track packs, a sequel, and a spin off.
First up in August will be a Van Halen track pack.
Then we get Guitar Hero 5 in September and DJ Hero is planned for October.
As well as these three titles, 2009 also sees the release of the Metallica track pack and Guitar Hero: Modern Hits, which is a best of compilation.
It seems that Activision are determined to ruin their mega selling franchise. Surely with a release schedule like this Activision are running the risk of alienating fans with too much product?
Ah well, at least by 2010 there’ll be nothing more to do with the franchise, will there?
