The Meet the Parents/Fockers movie franchise is set to become a trilogy with the news that John Hamburg is busily writing a script for “Little Fockers.”

Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers have taken $846 million at the Box Office.

Little Fockers will, presumably, tell the story of Ben Stillers’ Greg Focker, and his wife Pam as they have their first child.

At this moment, writer John Hamburg expects the cast of the first two movies to reprise their roles.

Little Fockers seems like the logical direction to take the franchise.  Any other plotline and I would probably call “cash in” but the whole “starting a family” thingy for Greg and Pam Focker is something that they’ve been building up to since the first movie.

However, a fourth Meet the Parents movie and we can all stand up and call them greedy but not just yet.
