Quantum of Solace director Marc Forster has been talking about his upcoming adaptation of Max Brook’s Zombie war novel; World War z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.

He had this to say…

“At this point, it’s still in development.  I’m still working on the script, so I don’t know if it will be my next movie.  It’s a book I really like and think it’s a subject matter that would be really interesting to turn into a movie.  What I like about the book is that it’s not a straight-forward story.  It has these interesting different elements to it.  [Like Dawn of the Dead] It won’t be a straight-forward genre piece, it’s like a hybrid type of film so it will be very unusual.”

Cool.  A thinking man’s Zombie movie then?
