Green Lantern Movie Goes Into Production In September!

Warner Bros. Pictures have penciled in mid-September as the date when The Green Lantern goes into production.
Directed by Martin Campbell, The Green Lantern is due to be released on December 17th, 2010.
I can’t tell you how excited I am for this movie. And even though the Green Lantern isn’t as well-known as some of the bigger superhero franchises, in the eyes of the ignorant masses at least, I do believe it will have more mass appeal than the recently released Watchmen.
Now that’s not to say that I think it will be a better movie than The Watchmen, just I think it will do better business at the box office.

Aaah, I think this is one of DC’s poorer choices. The only thing cool about GL was his “In brightest day, in blackest night” schpeil. But what am I complaining about… I’ll definitely go see it at the cinema!
It is a strange choice when you consider that they haven’t done anything with the flash for a while. What happened to the planned Green Arrow Supermax movie?
