Remakes are everywhere these days, and the upcoming flick The Taking of Pehlam 123 is no exception. As the release day draws ever nearer, we aren’t any closer to really knowing what Tony Scott has up his sleeve. The leads, however, have been confirmed as Denzel Washington and John Travolta – and now there are some pictures to prove it.

As for a quick summary, for those who have not yet heard of the film (which wouldn’t surprise me as it’s all so hush-hush right now), according to Empire,  The Taking of Pelham 123 deals with “Washington’s schlubby subway despatcher, Lt. Zachary Garber” who realises “that a major crime is under way under the streets of the Big Apple”. The criminal is, of course, played by John Travolta – and comes in the form of the character Ryder. Cast also includes: Luiz Guzman, John Turturro and James Gandolfini.
