Tim Burton’s Going To Wonderland!

…Although in my opinion he’s been there for quite some time.

Reports state that Burton has released some info on his upcoming movie – the millionth Alice In Wonderland. According to Empire, he was quizzed on the film’s progress, to which he replied: “Way down the rabbit hole. There’s a long way to go.”

I can imagine that it will be in the typical Burton-esque world (we would expect nothing less) and judging by the methodology being used to recreate the zany universe of Wonderland (lots of mo-cap, animation and live action) it’s going to be eclectic indeed. When Burton was questioned on the amount of CG there was going to be, he simply replied:  “I’m not quite sure yet – doing a big budget movie is an organic process and gives the opportunity to experiment. It’s something that was presented to me and I’d never seen really a movie version of [the story] that I like, so I thought I’d just give it a shot.”

Sorry, folks, but you’ll have to wait for this one. We will be joining Mr. Burton and cast down the rabbit-hole in April 2010.
