Dead Rising 2 To Include Multiplayer!

Yep, it seems that multiplayer season is going crazy. With just about every major game released over the next couple of months having some sort of multiplayer component build in, it comes as no surprise that Dead Rising 2 is going to get some online action. Sequel Alert! Wall Street 2!

Oliver Stone has signed on to direct the upcoming sequel to Wall Street. Douglas will reprise his role as eighties yuppie icon Gordon Gecko with Shia Labeouf in talks to play a young trader who Gecko takes under his wing just like he did with Charlie Sheen in the original movie. Films of the Summer – A Compilation!

Empire have a nifty little video up on their site which shows a pretty good clip insight into the films which are upcoming in 2009. There is clips from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Coraline, Transformers 2,  Angels and Demons and Public Enemies amidst others. It gives a nice flavour of what 2009 is going to hold for film fanatics, and also a good overall view of the different genres which are on offer. 20 Year Anniversary for the Goonies – will there be a Sequel?

HEY YOU GUYS! Empire have recently released the information (and a supporting video) showing the historic date of March 17th, when The Gonnies cast and crew – including Donner and Spielberg – were reuinted for the first time in over 20 years, for the birthday issue of the ever popular film mag. There was, of course, talk of whether there would be a sequel in the pipeline (even after 20 years). Richard Donner simply stated: “We tried for a long time. Steven and I had many meetings with writers but nothing stuck. It seemed disrespectful.” The whole interview with Donner and the cast is available in Empires new issue.
