After months of speculation, Konami have finally confirmed that they will be publishing Saw the Video Game.

Konami suit David Daniels had this to say on the project, “Because we have leadership in the survival horror genre, we’re passionate about it and wanted to find another property on par with ‘Silent Hill, Saw has grossed over $600 million worldwide and sold over 16 million DVD’s, so we felt like it was a great opportunity to align ourselves with one of the most successful horror franchises in history.”

The game will see you assume control of a character in an Asylum who has to figure out ways to ‘play’ Jigsaws ‘games’ without getting killed.

Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
