I was going to go Edinburgh Zoo today, but it is raining and it would probably be rubbish if we went, so if today’s blog seems a little down-hearted you will understand why.

After coming clean about watching old X-Files episodes last week it doesn’t seem quite that bad to admit I spent a couple of days re-watching the Harry Potter movies this week.  I was inspired to do so by Nerdles’ very own Nat.  She absolutely hates the films, and I thought I should have another look at them to see if I had been to positive about them in the 3rd Nerdles Podcast which we recorded last Sunday.

I have to say that I remembered how wooden the kids’ acting is in places, but that doesn’t stop me liking the movies, I am a complete philistine when it comes to films (according to some people Top Gun isn’t the best movie ever made).

I am going to make a point to pick up a book this week, I always have to make a concerted effort to read for fun, but I always enjoy it when I do.  I think I may continue my discovery of Terry Pratchett books by reading Wyrd Sisters.

That’s about all I have to say today, I am on holiday next week, so I will be even quieter than I am normally.
