24 Starts Casting For Season 8!

I once read somewhere that 24 would only have seven seasons…

The logic was simple, the producers wanted a week’s worth of the real time series which, would have made sense and also given the series something to work towards.

But now, news has filtered out that the producers have started casting for an eighth season which makes me wonder where the series is going.

Are they going for 30 seasons now or 365?

Anyway, here’s what we know about the eighth series…

• Season 8 will begin production in May.

• Sulmdog Millionaire actor Anil Kapoor will join the cast.

• Jack Bauer will get handcuffed and find himself released because, well, that’s what always happens.

• And this one is strictly a rumor, though no one has denied it yet; Bauer’s bladder will finally burst after repeatedly going days on end without urinating finally catches up with him.

Okay, so maybe the last two I made up but we both know that at least one of them, probably the handcuffs one, will make it into season 8.
