Confirmed: The New Freddy Kruger Is…!

Yep, it’s finally been confirmed that Jackie Earle Haley is going to play Freddy Kruger in the upcoming remake.

Haley, who played Rorschach in Watchmen has officially signed up to play the dream demon and judging him solely on his looks, seems the perfect guy to play the part.

The remake has been penciled in for April 16th, 2010.
