There have recently been some images of the new Tarantino flick Inglorious Basterds captured for Vanity Fair shot by the infamous Brigitte Lancombe.  Although they aren’t stills from the movie per se, they still give a nice flavour of what is to come.

Funny, I never would have pegged Quentin as going for a WWII film as a storyline (having been used to his usual blood, drugs and guts movies I suppose) so it’ll make for interesting watching.  As for the cast, the ones you’ll recognise are probably Brad Pitt – who plays Lt. Aldo Raine – and Diane Kruger who stars as actress Bridget von Hammersmark. Other castings include, Eli Roth as one of the chief Basterds Donny Donowitz, Melanie Laurent as vengeful Jewish girl Shosanna, and Christopher Waltz as the movie’s nominal villain Col. Hans Landa.
