There is a Gran Turismo fansite called gtplanet.net, and on this particular website there is a user who goes by the handle amar212. Now no one knows who amar212 actually is but he seems to have insider knowledge of the Gran Turismo franchise and is renowned for spilling the beans in a very accurate fashion.

Anyway, here’s what he had to say…

• There will be over 600 vehicles.
• 80 different tracks (Although this could be 40 and he could be counting mirrored.
• There will be a track editor.
• It will be released on either December 1st, 2009 or March 2010.
• There will be two versions released. One more expensive but will include all the features while the second one will be cheaper but allow you to buy only the features that you actually want.
• Oh, and there might be a PSP2 version…
