EA have announced that the third person actioner Brutal Legend will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 on the 13th October in the US, with Europe getting their copies on the 16th of the same month.

Brutal Legend is made by famed game producer Tim Schafer, who, for those of you who don’t know, was responsible for Monkey Island and the amazing Psychonauts.

Jack Black has also leant his voice to the game and is heavily involved in the game’s appearance.
